Q:Your company has been recommended to me. I have a query. I am bringing my family 4 people in total, on a once in a lifetime trip to San Francisco from the UK in November. November 24th December 2nd. I am aware that it is so long away that I am desperate to try and cover myself should I have any reason at all to cancel. I am looking for some appropriate insurance. I do not envisage a problem but I can not live with myself if i do not cover myself.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Unfortunately there are no plans available that will provide coverage for cancel for any reason for a non-US resident. There is an option that will provide coverage for trip cancellation as long as the cancellation reason is one of the reasons listed in the policy. Please use the link provided below to view the plan details. Trip Insurance. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:Hello Do you offer Emergency Medical Evacuation for ages 67 and 54?

A:
There is not an Evacuation only policy for this age group. You can purchase a plan based on your visa status or appropriate travel insurance based on your situation as most plans include those benefits.

Q:We live in Argentina. My wife is traveling to Cuba on May and, since I have been using many times Atlas from Insubuy for my business travel to US, I tried to get her a travel insurance for her trip from you. There is nice article on your website on how is now compulsory to get insurance for travel to Cuba and a related easy link to get one. https://www.insubuy.com/cuba-travel-insurance/ Once you spend 10 minutes to fill all the required fields you are then denied the insurance citing geographic restrictions and US sanctions I mean do you sell an insurance to travel to Cuba or you do not? That should be an easy enough question to answer.

A:
We would be glad to advise. When you are on the page provided through the link below, it will offer 3 plans. Below the Atlas International link, it states that while this specific plan can cover certain travel to Cuba is does have travel stipulations. It then provides a link to advise of what the travel stipulations would be. Based on the type of travel your wife is going to be doing, the plan will not offer her coverage. The other 2 plans that are offered are Patriot International and USAway. Therefore, I would look into obtaining coverage through the USAway plan, as it does not have travel stipulations. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:I'm interested in purchasing a health insurance coverage with your company. However there are a few details that I don't know how to include in the form in your webpage and I was wondering if you could please let me know how to do it. I'm originally from Spain and I work at Columbia University under J1 visa status. Columbia University requires a few things that I list below The insurance coverage must meet these minimums Minimum medical benefit of $100,000 per person per accident or illness Deductible that does not exceed $500 per accident or illness Minimum repatriation of remains in the amount of $25,000 Minimum medical evacuation expenses in the amount of $50,000 and May include provision for co-insurance paid by J1 not to exceed 25% of covered benefits per accident or illness. Insurance policies May require a waiting period for pre existing conditions that is reasonable as determined by current industry standards and o Shall not unreasonably exclude coverage for the perils inherent to the activities of the exchange program in which you participate. The policy, plan, or contract secured to meet these insurance requirements must at minimum be Underwritten by an insurance corporation having An A.M. Best rating of A or above or A McGraw Hill Financial Standard & Poor Claims paying Ability rating of A minus or above A Weiss Research Inc. rating of B plus or above or A Fitch Ratings Inc. rating of A or above or A Moodys Investor Services rating of A3 or above or Be backed by the full faith and credit of the exchange visitors home country or Part of a health benefits program offered on a group basis to employees or enrolled students by a designated sponsor or Offered through or underwritten by a federally qualified Health Maintenance Organization or eligible Competitive Medial Plan as determined by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

A:
We have several J1 plans, like ExchangeGuard and Atlas America that have a 5 day minimum purchase and can meet the standard J1 requirements. I have attached the plan links below. You will of course need to select at least a policy maximum option of $100,000 and a deductible not exceeding $500.00. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our office.
