Q:We are expats living in Nepal, having arrived April 20, 2021 (left USA I think 18April). My wife leaves tomorrow, Oct.15, arriving USA Oct 16. We are US citizens who typically spend 9-10 months each year in Nepal. I will go to the USA in November and right now plan to return to Nepal leaving the USA on Jan.30, arriving Nepal Feb.1. What medical travel insurance can we get?
Q:Hi, I will be traveling to US for 3 months on a j1 visa. My wife and children are coming on a J2 visa. As such they are required to procure health insurance. My wife however is currently 9 weeks gestation. Could i enquire if there are any health insurance which provide pre-natal coverage? We are planning to return to Singapore sometime in 27/28 week so there is no need for birth delivery.
Q:I work for a biotech company and I am looking for medical insurance to cover the costs for the patient (child under 12) and family members who travel with the child. Do you have a policy that would covered preventative medical costs (vaccinations, wellness checkups) for the child and family members. The child has an underlying condition of methylmalonic acidemia and I would anticipate that there would be no coverage for the pre-existing condition. They would be relocating to Pittsburgh PA. The entire duration of the study is 13 weeks. They would be staying for 8-12 weeks and then return every three months for follow up visits.
