For the plans that have Covid-19 coverage, you would have to be displaying enough symptom for a Medical Doctor to determine that it is medically necessary to test for the Covid-19 and they order the test. Trip Delay benefits are the benefits you would be able to use for trip delays including quarantine. The policies that offer those benefits will automatically extend throughout the quarantine time. You will need to keep your proof of positive test result or any documentation that shows you are required to quarantine as well. You would pay for your lodging and meals and then file claims for reimbursement. Most plans will offer different levels of Trip Delay coverage for you to choose from.
