Q:Long term major medical insurance Dear Reader, I am a French citizen and resident. Can I buy an insurance with worldwide coverage except United States and Canada + a travel insurance to cover me when I come to the States (1-2 months/year)? Best Regards

A:
In your situation, I recommend an insurance that would cover you worldwide including US and Canada so that you have one continuous policy. You can look at various policies at /expatriate-health-insurance/ If you would like worldwide excluding US and Canada, you can buy it on the same place at /expatriate-health-insurance/ Additionally, you can look at travel insurance at https://www.insubuy.com Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Q:Worldwide medical insurance Sirs, Can you please advise health insurance plan options for myself. I am of Canadian citizenship but have been a resident of Indonesia for the past 14 years. My age is 53 and I am single. I'm a non-smoker and never have been. Health is excellent - no known problems. I have no current health plan. I am looking for a plan that will cover me: 1. While i am living here in Indonesia (at least for the next 5 years). 2. Provide medivac to Singapore or Australia for an emergency (accident or urgent operation). 3. Cover me while I travel worldwide for business or for holiday. I generally vacation in Canada for one month per year. I never travel to the USA. 4. Deductable could be around $1000. ($500 and $2000 options). 5. Optional extra cost for coverage when snow skiing. Thanks,

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing health insurance for yourself. Please look at Citizen Secure at /expatriate-health-insurance/ It will cover worldwide. Coverage area options are either worldwide excluding US/Canada, or worldwide. Therefore, even though you will never travel to the USA, you have to choose worldwide because you want coverage in Canada as well. For snow skiing, there is an optional sports rider option. On that web site, you will be able to get all the details, get instant quotes for various deductibles and be able to apply online. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Q:Worldwide cover health insurance Dear Sir/Madam I am looking for full worldwide health insurance to cover myself (a uk passport holder), my partner (a us passport holder) and my soon to be born son (uk passport holder - wil become dual citizen of US and UK within a year). We all reside in the UK for approximately 8-9 months of the year travelling to the USA for approximately 3 months per year. I therefore wondered if we can all be eligible for the same plan or whether we have to go on separate plans. What I need to clarify before I look any further into either plan is exactly what we are covered for especially in terms of the UK and the US as it is mainly in these two countries we currently spend our time. We do travel to other countries also throughout the year mainly for business trips or holidays also. What I also need to know is if under any of the eligibles policies that if any of us needed medical care in the USA then there is a list of PPO network hospitals which should be our first port of call in such a situation - I have looked these up and there are lots all around the country which is great. However as I\'m sure you can appreciate the medical system in the UK is very different to the States. Of course there is the NHS which is obviously our \'free healthcare\' however I need to know if this policy covers private medical care for us all in the UK. Therefore I basically need to know how this policy works in terms of if I become ill in my home country (the UK). What is included in the policy and do I have access to private care hospitals/doctors in the UK, and indeed abroad. For example what is the difference in terms of the UK between what is offered by this policy and for example taking out a UK only policy - forgetting for a moment this includes worldwide cover. Basically would I have to retain my existing UK cover or would this policy be sufficient to cover me in the UK for private healthcare. For example if I sprain my ankle in the UK and need some physiotherapy, would this plan cover me to see a private physiotherapist with referal from my Doctor in the UK? And finally if I did travel to europe or elsewhere in the world, again do these policies allow us access to any private healthcare. I look forward to hearing from you,

A:
You can buy Reside Prime for all 3 of you. However, you can't buy this insurance while you are pregnant. As long as you stay out of US for 6 months for more, it is fine. You can either choose Worldwide coverage or Worldwide excluding US/Canada. In US/Canada: If you go in the PPO network, insurance company pays 100% after the deductible. If you go out of the network, after the deductible, insurance company pays 80/20 for first $5,000 and then 100%. You can search for PPO network at /myaccount/ Outside US/Canada: After deductible, insurance company pays 100%. It is the same coverage in UK or in other places in Europe. You can visit private hospitals, no problem. You can buy it online at /expatriate-health-insurance/

Q:Medical Evacuation Denver Colorado to Morelia Mexico My wife and I live in Denver Colorado and spend the winter in Morelia Mexico. My wife is a Mexican citizen and has Mexican Medical Insurance. If she should get sick while we are living in Denver, are you able to MediEvac her to a hospital in Morelia ??

A:
Medical evacuation plans evacuate to the the nearest facility where adequate care can be given, not to the place of your choice. Therefore, if the person gets sick in Denver, you need to call 911 and get her admitted into the hospital into Denver. From insurance company's point of view, there is no point in evacuating her to Mexico.

Q:Dental insurance for visitors to USA Hi, Do any of the Patriot America or Atlas cover dental needs? If sudden toothache develops, will they cover it? If not, what are the available options for dental? Only to be used if there is some sudden tooth pain that needs to be handled. Do people usually pay for this sort of things out of pocket and we dont need insurance?

A:
Both plans cover up to $100 for sudden unexpected too pain to sound and natural teeth. They cover up to policy maximum for injury to teeth in an accident.
