Q:Health Insurance for F-2 spouse I am a graduate student in a California based University and my health insurance is covered and paid by the school. I will be bringing my spouse to the US and I am looking for some affordable health insurance options for her. The school offers a supplemental health insurance plan through Blue Cross that proves to be expensive (almost $200 a month). Is it a good idea to be buying visitors insurance that is renewable? It will take me 2 more years to graduate. My friends told me about the Partriot America plan and the IMG plan. But I would like to hear from you about other options that are affordable. Thanks. Q:Canadian citizen needs US insurance for newborn I am a Canadian citizen and I am looking for a US insurance plan that would cover the newborn care of my soon-to-be baby. I will likely be in the US during the delivery, and I need a plan that will cover the delivery and the medical care of the child until I return to Canada (about one month post-delivery). Q:Would Like Maternity Option Do you have any recommendations for private insurance plans which include maternity coverage? We are temporarily living in Hawaii until we move to Asia in December for missions. Q:Plan that allows hospital to charge insurance directly. Hi. My mother (64 years) will be visiting us for 2 months in California. I plan to get comprehensive coverage for her. The question I have is, if she does require treatment how do I make sure that the plan allows the hospital to charge the insurance company directly (after I have paid the deductibles)?
