Q:$300,000 to $1,000,000 visitors insurance My 63 year old mom just arrived from India to US and I am in search for suitable insurance for her which is affordable. I found good reviews about you and so I am contacting you for your guidance. In this day and age of technology it still is so baffling to find the reliable and trustworthy source for this. I tried some search on your website and found that the moment you go to the plan max at around 300k or so the premium go really high and there is not so much difference between the plan max of 300k or a one million. Is that true and if yes then why is that. If I keep the plan max at around 150k then it is significantly lower. My mom will be here for another 6 months or so and she is over all healthy. Could you please recommend an insurer with reliable claim disposal history and affordable. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Regards,

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing visitors insurance. The reason the premiums do not go up significantly from $300k to $1 million is primarily because of the low probability that you will end up using over $300k. You can consider purchasing Atlas America insurance at /atlasamerica-insurance/ I have personally purchased it for several of my relatives and I unfortunately had a couple of big claims and they were paid fine. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks so much for your time in responding to my queries. I have been reading about your company and I like the reviews. I think I will probably go ahead with your suggestion. I have a few more questions Is there any discount available or any way I can save money on premiums I am also looking for dental/vision or dental alone plan with this medical plan. Please advise on the dental/vision coverage company that is reliable and hassle free. If I combine medical+dental can I save? Thanks again, 1. Luckily, insurance prices are regulated by law and therefore, everyone has to pay the same price for the same insurance. Therefore, you can be assured that you are being charged the lowest premium and no one is paying lower than you for the same insurance. In other words, discounts are prohibited by law. 2. For dental/vision, please look at Careington plan at /careington-dental-vision-plan/ As both the plans are from two different companies, the total price remains the same. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. I have decided to buy these two. Finally could you please tell me The list of covered doctors, hospitals and urgent care facilities for the two plans. I am unable to find that web link So I just go online and purchase these plans for my mom? Any key documents required? Are they going to provide some sort of card or ID once I purchase. Thanks, 1. Provider networks: Atlas America: /travel-and-student-insurance-ppo-network/ Careington: /dental-vision-plan/provider-network/ 2. You can just purchase them online at /atlasamerica-insurance/ /careington-dental-vision-plan/ No documents are required. Please have name and date of birth handy. 3. Yes, you will receive a virtual ID card in the email for medical but not for dental. Both the physical cards will arrive in the mail, one for medical and another for dental. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. When I use the dental web site it does not give me list of the covered places in my region. My Zip is 92129 and I used it and it didnt work For atlas america the list site works. However I want to ask you if you knew as to why the list of covered hospitals and urgent care differs from the list provided by one competitor. It is the same insurer and your list has more hospitals that I like but the same link when I use from other source it gives me less options. I am sorry I just am a bit confused because in emergency I want to save time and go to the place which is covered. Sorry to bother you again and again but just want to make sure of few things, Best, 1. When I searched in 92129, I found lots of results. Attached. 2. Most likely, that competitor still has an outdated link. The link changed on 02/11/2014 and we updated it on the same day. As long as they are using the same latest link, there should be no difference. If you don’t mind, could you please give me the other link so that I can make sure?

Q:We are trying to buy Visitors to US Medical Insurance from you ... To whom it may concern, My wife and I are Canadian Citizens spending winters down in Mexico, traveling by car back and fro. We left Edmonton, Alberta on Oct. 15, 2013, and now are returning, leaving from Mexico on April 01, 2014. We will be crossing into the US through Nogales, AZ, and into Canada on Apr. 05, 2014 through Sweetgrass, MT. I was trying to buy your Visitors to US medical insurance, but when I wanted to pay by Credit Card the application would show an "Error" message, and an "Invalid" red caption next to our home phone number, a phone number which is mandatory information that you require. The reason for this "error" is simply that we cancel our home phone service when we leave Canada for six months of winter in Mexico. The number I used was our last home phone number, which if still available we will be getting once again. My question to you: how can I get around this "invalid" phone number to buy my policy, and my wife's. Please answer at your earliest convenience. Thank you,

A:
I suggest that you try entering only the numbers and no brackets. We definitely do not check whether the phone number itself is a working number or disconnected or not. It just checks the format of the number entered. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Q:Please help me to select correct insurance plan for my mother, visiting USA in April Hello, I am confused with many insurance options on your web-site. My mom, who is a citizen of Ukraine and is 49 years old, will be visiting me in the USA for 27 days. She will be staying in South Florida all the time. She doesn't plan to do any extreme sports. She plans to go to the beach. My mother is traveling through France (connecting), and I would like to purchase insurance that: - will cover emergency in the USA (and in France if needed. She is just connecting in France, not staying) - will be used without problems in Florida, Ft.Lauderdale / Miami / Marco Island / Naples / Tampa areas. Hospitals in Florida are very picky with insurances because of high level of fraud - will have $100,000 coverage (or $50K) - 0 deductible - most important that if any emergency happens, I don't have to deal with submitting claims. Claims have to be submitted by hospital / doctor. I am more concern about case of emergency: where the ambulance has to be calls, or she needs to go to emergency room / or stay in hospital. I don't want to pay any OOPs in case of emergency. Can you please help me to find the right insurance plan? Thank you.

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing visitors insurance for your mother. If you are looking for an insurance that is “If my mother gets sick, just cover everything, don’t ask me any questions or and don’t ask me to fill any forms. Just pay everything”, there is no such product available anywhere in the market. We offer several different products from different companies and each plan has its benefits and restrictions. Each plan pays for eligible claims according to the terms and conditions of the policy wording. You can certainly choose $50,000 or $100,000 policy maximum with $0 deductible and the plan that participates in PPO network that has many providers in your area. You can also choose the plan that will cover both in France and in the US. Therefore, I suggest that you visit our web site at https://www.insubuy.com and enter her details. You will see various plans and their prices and their details next to it. You can compare them side by side and make an instant purchase online. You can also read our Guide at /guide/ and that will give you a detailed guidance regarding how the process works. I hope that answers your questions. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
