He's diabetic, hypertensive, has had a heart attack two years back but no stents were put as it was deemed not necessary and was treated medically using injections that removed the block and has been on heart medication since. He's not had any symptoms in the past two years like Angina or chest pain, breathlessness etc. My question is if he requires medical attention while in the US for an angina or any heart related stuff. Would it fall under "Acute onset of pre-existing condition" or would this be termed chronic? Thank you There is no one way to answer for sure. It could go either way.

As long as you purchase the policy before they arrive, then you would be able to renew it as needed. So you could purchase it for 2 or 3 months and then renew it before the expiration date. However, if the policy were to lapse/ expire and was not renewed on time, then at that point you would not be able to re-purchase. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
