Q:Help choosing insurance plan My parents are visiting the US, and are planning to stay for 6 months. My father is 70 years old and my mother is 63. Due to this, I am having trouble finding a plan that covers them both. Also, both my parents have Diabetes, and my mother has Hypertension as well. I want to find a plan that might cover doctor visits (PCP for check ups) Is there some plan that might help me with that?

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. As a broker, we provide insurance from most of the major companies available in US market. Unfortunately there is no short term plan for an international visitor which covers routine maintenance for the pre-existing conditions. However, some plan has coverage for acute onset of pre-existing coverage for the age below 70yrs while few others may provide a reasonable amount of coverage for persons until age 90yrs. More information on acute onset of pre-ex, /visitor-insurance-acute-onset-of-pre-existing-conditions/ You need to get separate quote for 70+. Please visit our website at www.insubuy.com Please enter appropriate criteria. You will find many plans and you can narrow by with pre-ex coverage. Please compare them side by side. If you provide their travel date and which state do you need coverage we can send quote by e-mail also. Please let us know if you have any further questions. I would appreciate your assistance. Travel date is September 1st 2016 to February 19, 2017. Coming to NY. Can you please provide with quotes for both my parents. Also, what do you suggest I do but doctor visits for check ups, without any acute onset? A separate quote for coverage for all of the available plans has been sent to you for review. In the event of no acute onset coverage you would be required to pay out of pocket for such an expense. If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Pregnant traveling outside USA My current insurance is due to expire next month. I'm not looking to renew the current one, rather, I would like more information on some alternative policies. For instance, I'm currently pregnant. Is there a policy that will cover maternity services while I'm here in France? Also, is there a policy that will cover regular/routine medical expenses for myself and the baby?

A:
Unfortunately, There is no plan that will provide you coverage if you are already pregnant. You have Patriot International plan which is expiring on 07/01/2016. Patriot international plan will not cover maternity. If you want to renew the same policy, you can renew using link below, /international-medical-global-extension/ Please let us know if you have any further questions. A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Please provide the state in which they would need coverage in as well as the type of visa that your daughter will be traveling to the US on so that we can properly recommend a plan. Also please verify whether or not your daughter is a dual citizen. State is SD, they will also travel (a couple of days maybe) to NE. My daughter will travel on a visa waiver. We know she can get dual citizenship but we haven't had the time to get the passport so she will travel with the Italian passport.
