Q:I'm Masahiro, who is a J-1 visa holder. I would like to know cost for the insurance plan meeting the minimum requirements for J-2 visa holder (3 persons; my wife and 2-kids) for one year (starting from 6th December 2016). I already have insurance through my program so I would like to know whether I have an eligibility or not. If the cost is allowed and, I'm considering to purchase it as an individual because my program does not cover the cost for my dependents.
