Q:I am from India and I will be travelling to USA next week on a dependent student visa.(F2 VISA) I wanted to know if i will be eligible for your insurance. Also i wanted to know if i get the insurance, would i have to pay first and then reimburse or does that happen directly between the doctor and insurance company?

A:

Q:I'm an American citizen and my wife is Lebanese. My wife has a 5 year visitors visa. We are planning to deliver our baby in USA and will need to have maternity insurance for my wife. She is not currently pregnant. I appreciate if you can send me the coverage plan that might be suitable for our case.

Unfortunately, There is no insurance for an international visitor which covers pregnancy. This is an expenses that you will have to pay for out of pocket if your plan is to cover maternity cost in the United States. Q:I would like to have this plan coverage from February 13th, 2017 through May 4th, 2017. Also, I need confirmation of what is defined as a "Home Country" in regards to a U.S. citizen living outside of the U.S. for five (5) plus years. How does the underwriter determine this with the insured has a U.S. passport, though has never been to the U.S.?

A:
For a U.S. citizen or dual citizen your U.S. citizenship will take precedence. Your home country is the country in which your true fixed permanent residence is. At the time of the claim, the claims department will have access to many different means to verify information provided to them to include passport validity and such. You can click the purchase link within the quote that was sent to you to verify coverage as well as contact our office and a licensed agent can assist with completing your application.
