Q:My wife is a Brazilian citizen with a valid USA Immigration card. She resides in the USA most of the time. Do you have any major medical programs she might be eligible for?

A:
If she resides in the U.S. on a greencard she would need to enroll into domestic insurance through the Healthcare Exchange. Her eligibility with domestic insurance would make her ineligible for our plans. We do have 1 short term plan available in some states that may be able to provide temporary coverage until her domestic insurance can begin. You will need to check the plans geographic restrictions to see if the plan is available in your state of residence. /short-term-health-insurance/ Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

A:
We would need to know which state you will be coming to here in the U.S. in order to advise as some plans have geographic restrictions. We have listed the link for a couple of possible options for you to review. /patriot-america-plus-insurance/ /short-term-health-insurance/ Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Q:HiI am interested in getting medical insurance for my parents ( Father is 65, mother is 60) who will be getting their greencard. Both are not working. I'd like to get a quote for eligible plans. Thanks

A:
If they are coming into the U.S. and receiving their green cards upon entry, they would be eligible for domestic insurance through the HealthCare Exchange in the state in which they will reside. Being eligible for domestic insurance will make them ineligible for our plans. They would not use their income but instead the income of the person who signed the affidavit of support when they sponsored them for green cards. If the situation is different than the above, please advise.

Q:I wanted to ask if im an American citizen not living in the US , can i get health insurance in the united states?

A:
If you are a U.S. citizen living abroad and coming to the U.S. to visit, we do have plans that would be available to you. You can find those plans here: /visitors-insurance/ The quote link will ask you your country of citizenship which of course you would enter as United States and it will then show the plans that would be available to a U.S. citizen only. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
