Q:Need your help to identify insurance plan for my parents visiting USA from India next week. The website has lot of options and terms and conditions which is confusing. Let me provide you the details and few expectations so that you can help me with plans. Date of Coverage: 07/16/2017 to 09/18/2017 Location: Novi, MI Parent 1: Male, Age 65 Yrs Pre-Existing Conditions: BP, Type 1 Diabetes controlled with current medication Parent 2: Female, Age 58 Yrs Pre-Existing Conditions: BP, Type 1 Diabetes controlled with current medication Given the comparison between Fixed and Comprehensive Plans, I am more inclined towards Comprehensive, however if you feel there is a Fixed Plan which can suit above conditions, please let me know those options as well. Other feature such as PPO would be preferable. I would also like to know details on Hospitalization Charges, Urgent Care, Emergency Room etc to better understand what is covered and what is not with examples. Also if possible please start with basic economical plan and then next level of advanced coverage. Awaiting your response to be able to choose a plan that best fits my needs.
Q:My son is an undergraduate international student at Virginia Tech on F1 visa. He is currently enrolled in student health insurance plan (SHIP) of Virginia Tech provided through Aetna. His health insurance plan is valid till 31/7/2017. However, international student can opt out of SHIP if they have an alternative insurance plan that must meets ALL the criteria as detailed in the attached document. Can you let me know if there is any insurance plan that you have meet ALL the mentioned criteria. In that case I would be glad to purchase the alternative plan.
