    Default Insurance for retired immigrant parents

    My parents are coming to live in USA next Monday. They are both 76 years old and need health coverage. They Have an immigrant visa,and are both retired.

    thank you for your quick reply, if my parents are 77yrs & 75yrs old and pay for all causes is the $4790 for one person per year or is it per family?

    That post is from 2008. Therefore, you are unlikely to get any response.

    Therefore, I suggest that you contact Obamacare and any state government agency that offers insurance and check whether they have anything in your state that they could purchase.

    If that does not work out, please look at

    You can specifically look at plans such as Green Cover and Bridge Plan. Those plans are specifically designed for new immigrants to the US who don't qualify for Medicare, Obamacare or other domestic health insurance plans.
