Default Does Visitors Care provide trip insurance?

    Hi,
I have decided to purchase Visitor's care insurance for my in-laws who are coming this friday? I have a few questions though.
    1) Does Visitor's care cover trip insurance? If not, then do you know any insurance that will provide me only the trip insurance for their international travel?
    2) How quickly can I get the insurance cards if I purchase Visitors care tomorrow?

    Thank you for your effort.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing Visitors Care visitors insurance.

    1. Visitors Care covers anywhere outside the home country. The coverage starts at 12.01 AM Eastern time the day you specify. Keeping time zone difference in mind, you should put the effective date one day in advance of the travel date to cover during travel as well.

    2. After you purchase the insurance, you will mailed the insurance cards the next business day which general arrive in 4-5 days. Meanwhile, around 15 minutes after the purchase, you can visit our Current Clients section at https://www.insubuy.com/clients/ to download the ID card, policy wording etc.

I hope that answers your questions.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to post them here or contact us at any time.

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

    1) Does it mean that Visitors care provide medical coverage in US and also trip insurance for travelling to US and returning back?
    2) If I purchase insurance and ask my in-laws to print ID cards and travel with it then will they be covered during the trip.

    Thanks Narendra. This is great.

Both of them are below 60 and I decided to purchase fixed coverage and also it has PPO network.

One last request, regarding the trip insurance, do they mention the trip insurance in their broucher somewhere? will you be able to point me to the correct section of their brochure. Thanks.

Most of the benefits are per coverage period for Visitors Care, will it be sensible to purchase insurance for 3 months only and then extend it for another 3 months? I will lose on the renewal fee but will get the coverage benefits again if I have used it.

    Kindly advise the best approach.

    Thank you again.

If the person is traveling for 6 months, buying initially for 3 months and then renewing for another 3 months is a good option. (Please note that in addition to some benefits getting reset, your deductible gets reset too. Therefore, you should not buy in too many small durations.)
