Thank you for contacting Insubuy. Based on the information provided I would recommend the Patriot America Plus plan. This is a short term health insurance plan which is designed to cover new illnesses, injuries or accidents which occur after the effective date of the policy. You may review the plan details by using the link below. You may purchase online, or over the phone by contacting our office at (866) INSUBUY.

Can you please help me with below questions :

    1. My family is going to stay with me till my Visa expires, they are not coming for a short term, still am i eligible to take this plan ?
    2. Is it mandatory that i should put them in my employers group insurance plan? means can i stay in my employer insurance plan and for my spouse and kid can i take this plan ?
    3. Important : what all will not be covered with this plan than compared to general employers insurances ?
    4. As my kid is just 1 yr old, does this plan cover all the illness for him, including Immunity tests and others ?
    5. Does it cover all illness and maternity for my spouse ?
    6. What is the general practice of claiming the insurance ? do we need to go network hospitals or any where ?
    7. Does this also cover travel insurance, they are coming from India, is it valid from the date when they fly out from India to Chicago?

This plan is primarily designed cover the insureds medically anywhere outside of their home country. Please do keep in mind the insurance coverage dates are based on U.S. eastern standard time. You may want to add a day to the effective and expiration dates as needed. If you have any additional questions please let us know.
    Thanks & Regards
