Thread: Question about multiple policies

  1. #1

    Default Question about multiple policies

Can someone tell me how having two policies might work for visitor's insurance. I intend to buy the Atlas America policy within the next few days for visitors scheduled to arrive soon. I am wondering (out of an abundance of caution) if there is a point to buying a second policy from another provider, that might complement the first policy. Does this work?

Thank you. In the meanwhile, can you verify my understand from what I can read on your website:

A policy that has "acute onset of pre-existing conditions" coverage should cover everything that a similar policy that offers "sudden recurrence of a pre-existing condition" coverage does, but not the other way around. Generally speaking, is this true?
