I am a visiting scholar in University of South Florida (J-1 visa). I am trying to purchase an insurance plan on Insubuy but I am not sure if the plan meets the requirement for the school. Could you please help me check it?

The plan must have medical benefits of at least $100,000 per accident or illness, repatriation of remains in the amount of $25,000, expenses associated with the medical evacuation of the exchange visitor to home country in the amount of $50,000, & a deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness.

By the way, I am wondering if it is possible to start the insurance from 03/15/2016 since the school requires to start insurance from the date of entrance. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us.

WE can start policy today but NOT from 03/15.

You can purchase Atlas America plan which meets all your school requirements and you can start coverage from 03/16.

Thank you very much for your reply. Could you please help me check if patriot exchange program meet the requirement for USF? And can you help me fill out the insurance compliance form after I purchase the insurance? Thank you.

The Patriot Exchange Program does meet the aforementioned requirements that you have provided. If you would like for us to compare your coverage to your Universities requirements please send them in PDF form and we will be more than happy to do so.

After purchasing the plan we can have your compliance form completed by the proper department.
