Do I need to register or pay for this service?
No, this is a FREE program. There are absolutely NO FEES to use the Discount Drug Card. It is completely free and you will never be charged for it.

Is this insurance?
No, this is neither a Discount Medical Program nor a medical insurance plan. This program is not insurance and is not designed to replace your medical insurance.
Can I use this discount with my current insurance?
If you have insurance, you should bring both your insurance card and the Discount Drug Card to your pharmacist and ask which gives you the better discount. This program is not designed to add discounts to a benefit you are already receiving from your current insurance, nor is it designed to reduce your co-pay. Please keep in mind that many insurance programs do not cover medications for which this card will provide discounts.
Does using this program count toward my insurance deductible?
If you have health insurance: If you have a deductible, the purchases you make using this program may not count toward your deductible. Of course, we suggest you contact your insurance company to get the specifics as not all insurance plans are the same.
If you have an HSA or HRA plan: Using our program will most likely count towards your deductible, however we urge you to contact your HSA or HRA provider to get the specifics as not all plans are the same.
Again, if you have health coverage of any kind, we suggest you contact your plan administrator to get the specifics because not all plans are the same. The Discount Drug Card is not insurance; however, it provides a meaningful benefit that helps you save on your prescription medications.
How do I get a discount?
Bring your Discount Drug Card along with your prescription to the pharmacy and present it to the Pharmacist.
For Over-the-Counter (OTC) medications, present the Discount Drug Card to the Pharmacist and ask if it qualifies for a discount.
What if I don't have a printer?
If you don't have a printer, you have the option to send a copy of the Discount Drug Card to your e-mail or mobile phone. You may also write down the Member ID, GRP, BIN, and PCN information from your online card and give this information to your pharmacist for the same exact savings.
Can I share my card with others?
You may share your Discount Drug Card with any family member or friend who may benefit from the discount. Please note that no personal information is tied to this card. It's always free, and it NEVER expires. You may request additional cards through our website.
I order my prescription medications online and get them delivered. Can I still use this card?
As long as the mail service or online pharmacy accepts insurance, they should also accept the Discount Drug Card. You will recognize that the information on the front of the Discount Drug Card is similar to the information shown on the front of an insurance card. Simply fill out your paperwork in the same fashion. Please note this card is not designed to add additional discounts to discounts you are already receiving from your insurance plan, and it is not designed to reduce your co-pay.
Important note for Medicare users.
Although this discount can be used as a Medicare Part D supplement by covering drugs, once participants reach the "donut hole," drugs purchased with this discount program will not count toward your Medicare deductible and therefore will not allow you to exceed your deductible and get out of the "donut hole." We suggest you contact your plan administrator to get the specifics, because not all plans are the same.
Are pet medications covered?
If you can fill your pet's prescription at a pharmacy, then the Discount Drug Card can provide a discount. Please keep in mind that discounts for each medication will vary by pharmacy and location. Just present the Discount Drug Card and your pet's prescription to the pharmacist and he or she will find the discount in the pharmacy's computer system.
