My Father (Age 65) and Mother (Age 55) are visiting USA from Bangalore, India. They are arriving on May 20th, 2019 and returning on June 18th, 2019. I am a resident of Maryland, USA. When I search for insurance plans with these details on your website, the choices seem to be very limited. Only 4 policies are showing, of which 3 are Atlas. Is there a reason why plans like Patriot America Plus are not available? Also, from other websites I see that there is a Maryland address restriction on Atlas plans but your website does not seem to caution me about this. Can you please help me buy a good insurance plan?
The Patriot Plans have a restriction for Maryland. Anyone coming to Maryland would not be eligible for the Patriot Plans.
Atlas only has a physical presence restriction, which states they would not be eligible for the Atlas plans if they we are physically in Maryland at the time of application.
As long as you purchase the Atlas plan before they arrive they will have coverage in Maryland as well as anywhere outside their home country.
