I am ready to purchase it but have a few more questions as I was filling out the form. My mother already left her home country and is in Europe now. She is covered under another travel insurance while in Europe. She will fly to the US on Sept 15. This being said, what should I put as date of departure of her home country?
Date of departure from home country should be the date she left from her country to visit Europe and US.
You don't need to get coverage for follow me home option if you need coverage during her travel back to home country. She will get coverage during her as long as her insurance is effective. As soon as she land to her home country coverage will expire.
