I have a client that purchases a travel protection policy for a trip in June of 2022. The tour operator has since changed their rules and is not requiring a vaccine mandate which was not required at time of booking. My client cannot get her vaccine per her doctor and is not taking this trip because of the tour operators change in their policy. She is requesting a refund (or future credit) for her policy and the tour operator is not cooperating. Is this a legitimate request and should the client be able to use this policy for another trip she plans to take? Many tour operators are willing to do this due to the many Covid changes, but this one is not and I do not agree she should just be out what she paid since this is not her choice. Thank you.
