I would like to inquire about getting a medical coverage once I am in the U.S. Right now I am awaiting for my visa interview which will take place on November 5th in Tashkent Uzbekistan. There is a new requirement for newly arriving immigrants to show proof of their eligibility for medical coverage upon their arrival to the U.S. and I'd like to see what my options are if getting coverage through Anthem.
We would be glad to assist.
When going to the interview appointment, you are now required to show proof of coverage for 1 year when applying to enter the U.S. as a new immigrant.

I am not sure if by Anthem, you are referring to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield which is a U.S. domestic insurance, however, you would not be able to apply for that type of coverage until after arrival in the U.S.
If once you arrive, you obtain other insurance like Anthem for example, you could then cancel the plan you purchase now with proof of other coverage.
