I am a US citizen living in India on a permanent basis along with my wife. I am 70 years old and my wife is 65 years of age. Both of us travel to US for a couple of months every year and we are looking for an insurance policy for our period of stay. The policy should cover both our preexisting conditions as well as any new medical conditions that may arise during our stay and may need medical attention. Currently both of us are enrolled in Medicare Part A. Please let me know what are my options. Thanks
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Unfortunately, there will not be such coverage available. Coverage for pre-existing conditions can be found in a domestic insurance plan and if you are eligible to purchase such coverage it would be recommended to do so. We do have a short term medical plan that would allow coverage for the new illnesses and injuries, but keep in mind it will exclude the coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative and routine care.
