Meet,
Patriot America can be purchased for any duration you like, minimum of 5 days. However, you must buy initially for a minimum of 3 months in order to be able to renew in future. Therefore, if you buy for 2 months in your case, you can't renew it.
In your case, I suggest that you look at Protection America, also available on this web site. It is from the same company and essentially provides the same coverage and allows you to renew even if you buy for small duration. (Of course, costs higher for that flexibility).

Quick question,
I am leaning towards buying Patriot America for my mother who is visiting for 2 months. In case her stay gets extended, can you renew the policy. The website says, the policy can be renewed for minimum 5 days if you have initial policy for 3 months> So does that mean, I can renew the policy if my initial policy is for 2 months.
Please advice.
