MedEvac provides worldwide emergency medical coverage for injuries or sicknesses which occur while traveling. MedEvac will transport you to the hospital of your choice where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained and then home, if warranted. PLUS, unlike other medical evacuation only plans, MedEvac covers related medically necessary expenses.

Because medical emergencies arise while traveling, it's important to ensure you're covered. MedEvac plans provide the essential coverage needed to assist you in the midst of a medical crisis.

Coverage can be purchased up to 24 hours before departure, so make sure you start your trip on the right foot. The MedEvac Per Trip Plan covers you from the time you leave home until the time you return. Plan includes:

Covers medically necessary medical and dental expenses during your trip provided the injury or sickness occurred while on your trip and you sought initial medical treatment while on your trip.

Provides coverage for necessary emergency medical evacuations for an injury or illness incurred while traveling. Transports you to the hospital of your choice where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained and then home if warranted.

Covers return of remains in the event of an unfortunate death while traveling.

Covers death and loss of limb or eyesight within 365 days of an accident.

If, as a result of an Occurrence that takes place during an Insured's Trip and while traveling outside his or her Home Country, an Insured requires a Security Evacuation, the Insurer will pay a benefit to Transport the Insured to the Nearest Place of Safety. Includes coverage for natural disaster. (Not available in FL and PA.)

Coverage is provided for many adventure sports activities typically not covered including mountaineering, aviation, hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting and bungee jumping.

A. We are looking back 90 days prior to the effective date of the policy.

Q. How far from home do I need to be for my coverage to be effective?

A. In order for all services and insured benefits to be in effect, you must be traveling at least 100 miles from your permanent residence.
