Background
Seven Corners, Inc. began offering international medical insurance to the worldwide community in 1993. Known as Specialty Risk International, Inc. (or SRI) up until January 1st, 2007, the company was founded by international insurance professionals with a strong commitment to customer service and a belief that the public deserved reliability when purchasing international insurance.

Foundation in Insurance
In the beginning, Seven Corners specialized in marketing and general administration of travel medical insurance programs (providing protection against unforeseen medical expenses incurred outside the insured person's home country). Over the course of time, Seven Corners' capabilities grew to include 24 Hour Worldwide Assistance Services and Claims Processing, in addition to all the system design that comes along with those respective services. Today, Seven Corners is considered a full Managing General Underwriter and they provide all aspects of the insurance business, except for the assumption of risk.

Additionally, Seven Corners begin with one product line through American International Group (AIG). As their company and capabilities grew, they not only expanded product lines to include such coverage aspects as trip insurance and worldwide health, but their list of insurance companies expanded as well. Today, Seven Corners underwrites for AIG, Nationwide, Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's, London, Virginia Surety, and Fairmont.

Seven Corners' future holds additional specialty products and services brought to both U.S. citizens and foreign nationals for years to come.

Administrative and Benefit Management
Given their ability to effectively administer benefits to travelers and international citizens throughout the world, Seven Corners decided in the early part of this century to expand into non-insurance related benefit services. This line of business includes self-funded programs for worldwide corporations, all segments of government programs, and organizations requiring a unique and customized approach to benefit management.

All Seven Corners technical systems are designed and produced within their company. They are intended to not only be able to service their list of clients, but expand as Seven Corners' clients' needs expand and the scope of services increase. From customized methods of data collection, to unique medical plan administration, to a full compliment of reporting capabilities, the systems at Seven Corners continues to expand to meet their growing client's needs.

Professionals are continually available to assist Seven Corners' insureds and members throughout the world, 24 hours and day, 365 days a year. Seven Corners Assist's multilingual staff will direct you to physicians and medical facilities who are trained to offer the most appropriate level of medical care, whether within the United States or abroad. Additionally, their trained staff is able to assist with many aspects of international travel to ensure that your trip overseas is free of tragedy.

Claim Administration
Seven Corners Claim Administration Department consists of centuries of experience in processing medical benefits both in the United States and internationally. Given that Seven Corners' business is unique, their staff is trained to review each claim thoroughly to determine eligibility and various aspects of coverage.

Administration and Enrollment
Seven Corners' commitment to service began in their early days back in 1993 by processing applications the same day as they were received. Still to this day, travel medical applications received at Seven Corners' offices by 2 pm are processed that day with an ID Card (if applicable) in the mail that afternoon.

Customer Service and Sales
Seven Corners has an entire department dedicated to answering questions from persons throughout the world, from prospective insureds, to agents, to current clients. The Customer Service department has a vast wealth of knowledge in products and services and can assist with plan evaluation as well as the purchase process.

Seven Corners' Account Management department consists of professionals with a detailed operational understanding of Seven Corners as well as desire for client satisfaction with the administration of their benefit program.

In a few sections of our site, Seven Corners asks that you provide basic information about yourself (name, date of birth).
