Advantages of Renewal of Policy, offered by Seven Corners.
When Liaison International is
purchased using our online purchase system, clients may choose to
renew coverage for as little as 5 days at a time.
This will allow clients to only pay for coverage they need.
Renewals can be performed
Online.
For paper based application, if Liaison International is initially
purchased for at least three months, one month before the expiration date, renewal notice will be sent
to the Address of Correspondence listed on the application.
Coverage may then be renewed for a period of time, depending upon
your specific need. If you renew the coverage for 3 or more months
(up to 12 months at a time), Seven Corners will continue to send renewal
notices to you. If you renew the coverage for only 1 or 2 months,
Seven Corners will assume that you no longer require the coverage and will
not send another renewal notice. Total period of coverage
for Liaison International cannot exceed 3 years (1 year for age 65 and above).
Please note that this is a renewal of the policy and NOT a new policy.
That means that if something happens in the previous months, it will not
be considered a pre-existing condition. While if you take a new policy,
it will be considered a pre-existing condition. Thus renewability is a big advantage.
Every time you renew the policy, insurance company charges $5 renewal fee.
Therefore, it is a good idea to not pay in too many installments if you already
know that you are going to stay for a few months.
