Official Statement from International Medical Group on Obama HealthCare Reform
March 23, 2010
Regarding: Health Care Reform in the United States
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Today President Obama signed into law the Senate Health Care Reform bill otherwise known as H.R. 3590 the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. As with every health insurance organization, IMG is analyzing this legislation including its impact, if any, on the international business. The legislation appears to be applicable to domestic health insurance that covers US citizens and permanent US residents, rather than international insurance programs. Final analysis of this very large and complicated bill is pending, however.
Also, please be aware that there are numerous efforts underway in the US Senate, by states and state governments, and by private companies and individuals challenging the legislation. One or more of these could alter the impact of the legislation.
IMG will continue to update you on developments in the area of US Health Care Reform as they arise.
Thank you,
/sd/

Official Statement from Seven Corners on Obama HealthCare Reform
March 29, 2010
Response from Executive Officer, Jim Krampen, of Seven Corners, Inc.
At this time, the Healthcare Reform bill has not been implemented and the final administrative and procedural outcome has yet to be determined. Bureaucratic issues, details and the administration of the plan are still being discussed and designed. It is our understanding that the Healthcare Reform bill’s intention is solely focused on U.S. domestic health care insurance plans.
Seven Corners' travel medical programs are considered "supplemental" insurance and not domestic health care insurance, therefore the bill’s proposed mandatory acceptance of pre-existing conditions would not apply to Seven Corners’ travel programs. Seven Corners will be monitoring the situation and will make any appropriate changes, as requested from the US government.
