Advantages of Renewal of Policy, offered by IMG.

Visitors Care from IMG can be purchased initially for a minimum of 5 days and can be renewed for a minimum of 5 days (or any number of days or months you like), maximum 12 months at a time. Some time before the expiration date, IMG will send a renewal notice to the email address specified on the application. The coverage may then be renewed for a period of time, depending upon your specific need. You can continue to renew the policy minimum of 5 days at a time, for a maximum of 24 months. The total period of coverage for Visitors Care can not exceed 24 months.

Renewals can be performed Online. Every time you renew the policy, IMG will charge a $5 renewal fee (per policy) in addition to the premium.

Please note that this is a renewal of the policy and NOT a new policy. That means that if something happens in the previous months while the policy was continuously effective, it will not be considered a pre-existing condition. While if you take a new policy, it will be considered a pre-existing condition. Thus renewability is a big advantage.
