When Protection International is purchased using our online purchase system, clients may choose to renew coverage for as little as 5 days at a time. This will allow clients to only pay for coverage they need. Renewals can be performed Online.

For paper based application, minimum period of purchase is 10 days.

The total period of coverage for Protection International cannot exceed 3 years.

Please note that this is a renewal of the policy and NOT a new policy. That means if something happens in the previous months, it will not be considered a pre-existing condition. While if you take a new policy, it will be considered a pre-existing condition. Thus renewability is a big advantage.

Every time you renew the policy, the insurance company charges a $5 renewal fee for renewals less than 1 month, in addition to the premium. Therefore, it is a good idea not to pay in too many installments if you already know that you are going to stay for a few months. Whether you buy in small durations or for many months at a time, the total premium rate remains the same, the deductible is also only once per year. The only difference is the $5 fee per renewal.
