Advantages of Renewal of Policy, offered by HCCMIS.

If Atlas International is initially purchased for at least 5 days, HCCMIS will send you a renewal notice to the email address listed on the application. Coverage may then be renewed in one-day increments, depending upon your specific need, up to a maximum of 3 years. No matter how many days or months you renew at one time, you have to pay the deductible and coinsurance only once per year.

Please note that this is a renewal of the policy and NOT a new policy. That means that if something happens in the previous duration, it will not be considered as a pre-existing condition, as long as there is no break in the coverage. While if you take a new policy, it will be considered as a pre-existing condition. Thus renewability is a big advantage.
