Advantages of Renewal of Policy, offered by HCCMIS.

If Atlas America is initially purchased for at least 5 days, HCCMIS will send you a renewal notice to the email address listed on the application. Coverage may then be renewed in one-day increments, depending upon your specific need, upto a maximum of 1 year. No matter how many days or months you renew at one time, you have to pay the deductible and coinsurance only once per year.

Please note that this is renewal of policy and NOT a new policy. That means that if something happens in the previous duration, it will not be considered as a pre-existing condition, as long as there is no break in the coverage. While if you take a new policy, it will be considered as a pre-existing condition. Thus renewability is a big advantage.
