Advantages of Renewal of Policy, offered by Diplomat LT from Global Underwriters.

If Diplomat LT is initially purchased for at least three months, one month before the expiration date, Global Underwriters will send a renewal notice to the Address of Correspondence listed on the application. Coverage may then be renewed for a period of time, depending upon your specific need. If you renew the coverage for 3 or more months (up to 12 months at a time), Global Underwriters will continue to send renewal notices to you. If you renew the coverage for only 1 or 2 months, Global Underwriters will assume that you no longer require the coverage and will not send another renewal notice. Total period of coverage for Diplomat LT can not exceed 3 years.

Please note that this is a renewal of the policy and NOT a new policy. That means that if something happens in the previous 3 months, it will not be considered a pre-existing condition. While if you take a new policy, it will be considered as pre-existing condition. Thus renewability is a big advantage.
