Travel insurance for 6 months

Hi Insubuy team,
I am looking for travel insurance for my spouse(age 27 years) and son (2 years) for 6 months duration to buy from your website. I will be travelling to San diego,CA.
Based on the Insubuy website, I had shortlisted Atlas America ($50000) coverage plan.
1) Can you let me know if this suitable? Or would you suggest anything else?
2) Can you confirm if it is a HMO/PPO plan? Will I be able to consult any Paediatrician directly in the network without Co-pay charge?

Yes, Atlas America is suitable.

2.
It is a PPO plan. You can go to specialist directly.

However, there is no concept of copay in short term plan.

Thanks a lot for your response.
1) I do not have an US credit card/bank & billing address. Can I use my AMEX card with indian billing address for purchasing the policy online?

2) Also if I purchase Atlas America plan, do I need to notify the provider before visiting the doctor or can I directly visit them and show the card to them.

1. Yes, you can use that card.
2. For minor things, you just visit the provider directory. However, for major things, you must inform first. It is called precertification. Please read about precertification in the brochure at http://www.insubuy.com/hccmis/atlas/...sinsurance.jsp
