Hi there,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing Global Medical Insurance.
1. Once you relocate to the U.S., you can go with any of our domestic
insurance plans, available at
http://www.insubuy.com/individual-medical-insurance/
2. GMI Platinum already includes dental plan. For other GMI plans, there is
no dental rider. However, we offer other plans that do offer dental rider,
and you can find them at http://www.insubuy.com/expatriate-health-insurance/
You can purchase GMI online at

That's great Narendra,
Does transfering to a different plan within your offerings, such as the one you've included below, exclude anything that I get with the global medical? (obviously it would be only for the US). Does it count as starting over? Meaning would there be waiting times for being able to get any specific care or anything else that may negatively effect me? Would any illnesses/issues that happened during the global health insurance be excluded as "pre-existing" under the domestic health plan? Would I have to do a health check up of some sort?
There is no one specific rule whether GMI would be considered as creditable coverage or not for the future domestic insurance company. It varies from time to time. GMI can give you the confirmation of coverage letter at the end and that can be submitted to the domestic insurance company for consideration.
With all the healthcare related laws changing recently, it is hard to say exactly what will happen in future.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks & Regards

1.
Thanks for your answers. If I decided to move back to the States though, this plan would cover me for the 1st six months living there?
2.
Also, can I travel to get treatment? For example, if I am diagnosed with something in Gibraltar but I hear that Lithuania has better treatment for it, can I go there for treatment? Or if I started treatment for something in England but want to go on holiday to Canada, can I get treatment while
I'm in Canada?
I'm just trying to get a handle on how this works.
3.
Also I have just been treated for endometriosis, after how long of being on your plan would endometriosis be covered if it comes back?
1.
You have to prove your eligibility at the time of your every
renewal.
2.
Yes
3.
Pre-existing conditions are excluded for 2 years. After that max coverage is $5,000/year, $50,000/lifetime.

1.
It looks like the Gold or Gold Plus is right for me. If I wanted to get the Maternity rider, what sort of additional cost would I incur and when would it kick in?
2.
Also none of the dental riders on the other plans really seem to relevant to me, that said if let's say I was diagnosed with a medical condition that affects my teeth or gums, would that be covered through the health insurance?
Sorry it's my first time looking at insurance properly and I'm trying to cover all my bases.
1.
Cost is $2,500/year additional.
Coverage is $5,000/normal delivery, $7,500/c-section.
Full coverage starts after one year. 50% coverage in months 11 and 12.
2.
No coverage.
Thanks & Regards

Sorry Narendra,
I have one more question regarding pre-existing conditions. Let's say it turns out that somebody on one of your plans gets diagnosed with, say, cancer and you guys can prove that they had it before they had insurance. They didn't know they had it, and their doctors never saw the symptoms, but you guys say that it's clear that the cancer was there before the insurance because of how far the cancer has spread or symptoms were there but no one picked up on it or something.
Is this a pre-existing condition? Or are only diagnosed conditions considered pre-existing?
Guess I''m a little paranoid of health insurers..
Thanks for your help Narendra.
Pre-existing conditions are excluded. Not only pre-diagnosed.
Therefore, in this case, it would be excluded.
Thanks & Regards
