Hello, I am an American traveling to Tanzania and need to acquire traveler insurance before I leave. The main reason is because I am scheduled to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro with a guided group. Your extreme sports rider only covers mountaineering up to 4500 meters, and Kilimanjaro stands at 5000 meters but I have heard from other people that because Kilimanjaro is actually more of trekking (at no point are ropes or climbing involved), you are sometimes willing to waive that limit for a fee. Please let me know if this is true, as I need to get my insurance before I leave for Tanzania on July 23.
