Hello. I am an American citizen, currently living and working as a missionary in Cambodia. My current evacuation insurance is with ISOS. However, ISOS stops evacuation coverage after 24 weeks of pregnancy (even for non-pregnancy related problems). I am not planning to leave the country to have my baby until about 32 weeks, and I am looking for medical evacuation insurance that will cover me for that approximately 2-3 months (from 24 to 32 weeks gestation)that my current insurance won't. Evacuation to either Thailand or Singapore is fine (I do not want to be evacuated back to the US at this time because of other insurance reasons.) I would appreciate if you could tell me if you have any policies that would be appropriate to my situation, the specific information about the policies, the price, and how I would go about signing up with you since I am currently in Cambodia. Your quick response to my questions is greatly appreciated. Please email your response. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Kim

Thank you for your interest in purchasing medical evacuation insurance.

You can consider purchasing Liaison Traveler available at http://www.insubuy.com/sevencorners/liaisontraveler/emergencymedicalevacuationinsurance.jsp (http://www.insubuy.com/sevencorners/liaisontraveler/emergencymedicalevacuationinsurance.jsp)

It would evacuate you if there was a complication of the pregnancy. It would not evacuate you for normal delivery. Insurance company would evacuate you to the nearest place that could treat you or they would bring her home. Insurance company can not provide you with anything in writing as to where you would be evacuated to if there was a complication. Every situation is handled on a case by case basis, based on your medical condition. If you have any questions, please let me know.
