Hello, I am an International Student here at the university of Utah. Our university has made health insurance mandatory and my effort to get an exemption has been useless. I don't need medical insurance as I have never needed it my whole life.
We have been given specific requirements that the chosen insurance company must meet. Kindly let me know if your Global Student Health -- Silver plan meets the following requirements:
Minimum coverage of $50,000
An annual deductible of no greater than $250.00
Coverage of 80% or more, i.e. 80/20 Coinsurance
A United States carrier or contact office within the U.S.
Minimum of $10,000 reparation and medical evacuation insurance
