Diplomat America insurance is a visitors medical insurance for persons visiting the USA. Diplomat America is a comprehensive coverage plan and is a travel medical insurance that provides coverage within the USA for non-U.S. citizens.

Diplomat America is available for policy maximums from $50,000 to $1,000,000 and various deductibles ranging from $100 to $2500. However, since Diplomat America insurance is the only plan that provides $50,000 of comprehensive coverage for persons of age 80 years and above, it is the most popular plan for that age group.

Diplomat America can be purchased from 15 days to 12 months. Diplomat America insurance is neither renewable nor refundable. Therefore, you must carefully choose the exact duration of coverage that you would like.

Diplomat America insurance is underwritten by The Insurance Company of State of Pennsylvania, a member company of Chartis, and is rated A "Excellent" by A.M. Best. Diplomat America insurance is administered by Global Underwriters, Inc.

After you pay the deductible once, Diplomat America insurance pays 80% for the first $5,000 in eligible expenses. After that, it pays 100% up to the selected policy maximum. However, for sicknesses that occur within the first 30 days of medical expenses, Diplomat America insurance covers only up to $1,000.
