Q:I'm interested to buy the Safe Travel USA Comprehensive to my grandma that is coming from Brazil to visit me in USA. She is 89 (limit of this plan), but she'll turn 90 here in USA, after we buy the plan. Will be she covered yet or she looses the coverage?

A:
For the Safe travel USA plans once the insured person turns 90 the coverage will end. We still have plans available at lower maximums for someone that age and you are welcome to get the Safe travel plans for the time she is 89 and then switch once she reaches the new age group.

A:
No it will not. Visitors insurance will generally pay for any new injuries or illnesses that did not exist in the body before the effective date of the policy. The plans will not cover preventative care, routine maintenance of any kind, and they will not cover pre-existing conditions with the exception of the acute onset of pre-existing conditions coverage available on some plans. Additionally, no visitor plans will cover any vision or eye related surgeries or treatment. If you have any additional questions please let us know.
